Implementing MFA or other authentication methods

#1 by pjp

Hi,

has anyone any experience on using MFA via Google, Amazon or Microsoft in an oTree experiment? I know quite a bit about OAuth 2.0, OIDC and others, but has anyone succesfully implemented these?

I am planning to run a survey without Prolific or MTurk, targeting readers of certain newspapers and I worry the general link to the survey will leak. I cannot send personal one-time links to each potential participant since that restrict my reach a lot and cause extra work with the industry partners, also privacy issues could arise as I would need to handle private information.

Thus I need some others means to verify that the participants are real persons to not let any bots tamper with the data and potential participation rewards which is what I care about. And please, do not propose Captcha, even I already know how work around those.
