Google Colab

#1 by Anwesha

Hi there,

Hope you are well. I will be using otree to program my experiments soon. One of my colleagues, who doesn't use otree, suggested the use of Google Colab rather than PyCharm or any other IDE so that I can share my codes with collaborators. Do you think this is feasible for otree?

I am not an expert on google colab but it looks like the service meant data science and not application development. Sharring code with colaboraters works perfectly fine with PyCharm. You can use a online code repository like https://github.com/ to do this. After creating a Project in PyCharm you can follow the instructions here to connect it to github https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/github.html
