Well, we have a problem with prolific and otree ( we are using HR )

When a subject drops out, profilic keeps adding subjects to keep the session to the specified number but we don't want that.
Is there any way to avoid that?

Have you tried closing the room? My understanding is that if you close the room then participants can no longer join the experiment but in theory participants already in the experiment should be able to finish. I haven't tried this myself but will do so in the next few days but in theory it should work. I'll report back when I do.
