Experience with heavy load on Heroku?

#1 by Victor

Hi everyone,

I plan to run a study where it is likely that hundreds (perhaps something like 500) participants at the same time participate in a simple, non-interactive oTree app on Heroku. I know we do not really give formal support for Heroku, but does anyone have experience with the dyno, database, and redis settings for such a 'heavy' load? What would be sufficient? I am looking at Standard/Premium 3 for Heroku Progress, Premium 7 on Heroku Redis, and Performance-M or L dynos.

Thanks a lot in advance for sharing your experience!

Best,

Victor
