Trouble with Live Pages on Heroku

Hi there, I have been playing around with Live pages and have no trouble with things working locally, but things do not work when I am running on Heroku. I am currently on oTree 5.9.3. Attached is a screenshot of papertrail when trying to use the chat_from_scratch snippet. I think it might have something to do with that TypeError. Any suggestions?

Are you using a beta version? There was a bug in the latest beta version, anyway i just pushed the fix.

(locally you are using 5.9.3, but it doesn't seem to be the same version running on your server)
