Hi Chris + Community, I was wondering whether there is some option to generate a codebook in oTree (given that I use `doc` in the models)..? If not, do you think it makes sense/is feasible to use some regex etc. to structure the init file's information (to eventually end up with a codebook)? Has anybody done that already and is willing to share his/her code? cheers Hauke

oTree used to have that feature but I think it was removed around the time of oTree Lite, maybe because I didn't have time to re-implement it. maybe i'll implement it at some point in the future.

Hi Hauke, I'm a bit late to the party, but my R package gmoTree can now generate codebooks from the original oTree code. It doesn't handle overly complex codes, but it should work fine for most cases. Best, Patricia P.S. I'm happy to receive any feedback, whether it’s about bugs, design, or wording. https://zauchnerp.github.io/gmoTree/articles/codebook.html
